2 question both different.

Postby Steve_Iles » Wed Apr 26, 2006 5:39 pm

The first question is this.

At the moment I have two (2) Hard Drives.  One is running on an IDE and the other is running on SATA.  I want to format the IDE Hard Drive and give it to a family member.

Both hard drive have window's installed.  Windows XP SP2 on one and Windows XP Profesional 64Bit on the other.  I would like to format the XP SP2 HD as I don't really use that much.

How do I go about doing this?  I have tried clicking on my computer and right clicking on the C: Drive and format but to luck.  I take it, it's like cutting ones own head off.  I've had a look in Disk Managemet but still no luck

The second question is this.

I have a Satiek X52 joystick and have the latest driver's installed, the problem is no matter what plane or helicopter I'm in, the rudder always want's to pull to the right.
I have tried installing the orignal drivers that came with the joystick but the same thing happens.
Does anyone know of a solution or a fix.

Regards,

Steve

You can't format the drive you are currently using as an operating system. However, you can format the drive using the WInXP install disk, as it starts to load windows. you could get it to the format complete stage and abort the install on your present machine, or just do the procedure on the target PC.

The "pulling to the right" is because of the realism setting of torque. It's what happens in real life, you need to apply rudder in the opposite direction to torque forces when accelerating. You can turn it off in the realism settings, best to get used to it and fly full realism however.
