My dad has a G5. I was using it while I was home for three months. I didn't like it at first. Macs seem to me to almost do some of the clicking for you-- that's something I don't like. When I want to Close something, I want to be the SOB who clicks the mouse to close it. I don't like a machine doing something on its own that I would rather do myself. I think I want to say that a mac assumes things for you and does them without asking you first. I don't like that. I like Windows-- it always asks me what I want to do. I tell it and we get along just fine.

How does it run FS2004? and all of the goodies available for it?

Battlefield 2 any good?

Has it really, some ability a reasonable spec PC has not?

Until somebody can give me 3 "Yes" answers, I can't invisage myself switching to a Mac.

Well atleast it only a lappy. If you had gotten say a G4 I would have to disown you  :-/

However the lappys from mac are actually very cute, and have much better battery life than M$ ones do.

um... it is a G4... just not a tower.

i've contemplated selling my PC. but idk if i'd get enough money for a macbook pro, which would suit ALL my needs.
