,Neither one, you want a 3700+ San Diego core. That cpu is the one that stands out among the crowd.
The San Diego is based on the E4 cpu stepping, the same one used in the FX57 and the 3800+, 4200+ and 4600+ dual cores.
Interestingly, half the L2 cache is actually disabled on those dual core models.
The San Diegos (3700+ and 4000+) and the Toledo dual cores (4400+ and 4800+) are the only AMD budget cpu's to contain 1mb of L2 cache ram per core.
