Good Morning Guys and Ladies,       Here's wishing each of you a very nice day.

I have a few basic questions that I can live with but are a cause for concern  as they are always on my mind w/o a solution by me.     Can some of you help me  even just to understand  more of how the PC works.

Question #1,      When I used the "system restore" program, and went back past a week, the problem with the PC remained ! !    WHY  ??    Is it  faulty  ??     If SO - - - is there another  "FREE"  program that would do the job w/o failure ??

Question #2,       My PC does NOT shut down on command all the time and after the settings are  "SAVED",,  I must then press the main shut-down button. This is NOT a problem for me  - - - however - - -  is this an  indication of something  or a "PART" failure that needs  to be taken care of  NOW  ??    Is there some setting that I can use/do to correct this  ??

Question #3,      Is it possible to  "MOVE" some of the installed programs that came with the PC to another area of the hard drive such as  :" Local Disk D : "   ??    My reason is so the scanner don't have to always  "look" at this stuff that I don't use or is not used at the time .      Right now  - -  I use that "drive" to store items that I will be saving to a DVD just to get it out of the PC  but is always at my "beck and call"..

These will do for now but more to come later.     Perhaps these can be of help to others also.        Hope so.

Hey you " GUYS " - - -  I sure do appreciate your time and effort taken with my questions.       I Thank you very much    - -  -caveman

     Good morning / noon   Congo,

Thanks so much for explaining this to me.    This also answers some other problems  I've had and the reason these  problems started in the first place.    It also helps me in what direction to go to correct the problems.      So helpful.
