7300 Ultra to 6800XT

I'll throw this one to Cameron and Candle.

Is it worth upgrading a Geforce 7300 Ultra 512Mb to a Geforce SLi 6800 XT 256Mb, and if I do what kind of improvement can I expect?

yes it is. You will get much better game scores. the 7300 seris features a 64bit bus while the 6800XT has the 256bit bus. This equates to much higer bandiwth. But if I was you I'd get a 7600GT fron Evga

Stick with a 7800 or a 6800 NEVER Buy the in between budget cards, you'll kill yourself, for 3 months now I have been kicking myself sensless for buying a Nvidia 6200..... I should have saved $40 more and got a 6600..... Cheers, Gunny

Well the x800 line is 2003 tech, if ya like DX 9b then x800 is the way, if you like HDR and SM3 then you need GF6, GF7, or X1800 line
