New/old laptop...

Postby TacitBlue » Sun Feb 26, 2006 12:13 pm

I just aquired a used laptop that had somethng spilled on the keyboard. It also needs a new DVD/CD drive, which I have on order, so that problem will soon be fixed. My question is: is it possible to replace the keyboard on this thing?

This computer is an El-Cheapo, no-name brand. Balance. I was hoping that sense it's generic, then it's components would also be generic and therefore easy to find. So far I've had no luck, it doesn't look like laptop parts are as easy to find as desktop parts.

Nevermind. Per my usual procedures I asked the question and then went and found the answer myself. ::). It can be replaced, and it will cost about $100. Thank you anyway to all who would have given an answer. ;)
