Multi Monitor

Postby Jakemaster » Sun Feb 05, 2006 12:42 pm

How do I get FS to let me drag windows over to a second monitor?  I just put one up, but for some reason fs only lets me drag windows over in windowed mode, and once I maximize I cant drag anymore windows over

Any Help would be greatly appreciated

You have to unlock (a right click option) and then drag all the windows that you want in windowed mode over to your second monitor. Then go back to full screen. Once you have done that you can then move about and resize then "panels" that you have placed on the second monitor.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Wideview is a bit of a differeent beast.

Wideview allows you to run networked computers in sync with each other... with each machine running a stand alone version of the sim that displays a different view.  So six views... six computers and six versions of the sim.

There is a lot of info on multi-monitor stuff in the "Hardware" and "Homebuilt Cockpits" forums.

best,

Jake,
could you please "minimize" the size of your sig!
Your posts take up half the page!
Even though it is in the guidelines, It is a bit obnoxious.

At least take the spaces out between you all your specs!!

Thanks........

Dave
