Even I, who only has bought 2 vid cards, can tell you that PCI is a bad option, no matter what the specs of the computer. it has to run through the back bus, which is slower than the front bus.

AGP is just out of sync nowadays with PCI-E taking over.

AGP and PCI-E are on their own busses, so they are in direct contact with the system.

I got a PCI-E, which i personally think is good for the price (regardless of what cameron says, at least i got something now ;)) an ATI Radeon X1300 for $150.

(my rebate should be coming in 3 weeks, WOOT!)

but the latest and greatest out there is that 6600GT for the price. just lettin ya know the simple facts w/o the advertising (well, mabye 5-10% ads :P)

On my Raden 9200 64mb in my laptop,
3.06 GHZ
512 RAM

I can run FS2004 on fulls specs, 35fps completely smooth it looks great.

Right............. and Pigs fly.

Seriously there is no way you can completely max out the sim and get 35FPS on that lappy. Something is amiss there.

Screenie of Seattle needed, flying from the water (but has water in shot), 5000ft altitude. A total view of seattle (that means being more than close enough so the buildings at the back are shown).  Day, summer, fair weather, default lear.  Hold shift and press z and then z again.  Get a screenshot from behind the aicraft looking at the city.  Max the AI out if you really want to.  Resolution@1024*768*32 or greater.

You won't get more than 10fps ;)
