I'm having similar issues, mine are related to my audigy not having a gameport plug, I'm using my old SB Live, but, the stick calibrates,but, won't work in CFS2 nor 3.  :(

Works just fine on the SB Live with the Audigy 2 removed though....

Damn!  ::)

Hey Guys,I hope you've got the problem taken care of before now.   I  once came across a little bit of info - -  so simple  and yet has  let me know that a program was like me  [ NOT ALL THERE ]   ;D         Really - - -  it stated that a " shaded " box indicated that the program was only partially installed.  ???     Perhaps  a complete removal of all of the "hidden"parts of the program is in order ?      Perhaps those  "hidden" parts and pieces is messing up things  and preventing a good re-install ?     Just a thought.   Do hope you get things running OK.    caveman

Problem with my sticks is:
Wingman FFB is almost dead
my old Gravis Firebird is not 100% clean either, but the guy who designed my motherboard never thought about the fact that a connector only works when you can put a cable in it to get the thing to the back of the case.

What went wrong is that there isn;t enough space to put the internal connector on the pins, as they are too close to the front panel connectors
