RAm modules

Hey all, just a quick questions, could you use 4 single channel RAM sticks in a board with 4 slots, insted of 2 sets of dual channel RAM sticks?

They are all the same, no such thing as dual channel ram no matter how they package the modules.

You can run four modules in dual channel mode as well as two. There are conditions.

The mainboards are specific about what modules and combinations will work in dual channel mode.

Usually this means that ram modules must be of similar architecture and even sizes of modules on each channel.
