What the diffrence between PCI and PCI-Express cards??

One is terribly old and out of date the other is the latest in technology. ;) ;D

1. PCI 2. AGP 3. PCI-Express.

You won't get any good card that is PCI now. Even AGP ones are going out the window fast.

... Assuming you are talking about graphics cards. PCI is still used for other things, such as USB2.0 controller cards, modems and the like.

It's only "out of date" in graphics terms.

can PCI-E cards be used with PCI slots?

I dont think they can but Im not to sure so to be safe ill
ask...
