need help with CH product!!

Postby skysurfer2010 » Mon Dec 26, 2005 6:32 pm

I got the CH products yoke, pro pedals, and throttle quadrant for x-mas. I finally got the pedals and yoke to work, but the throttle quadrant still isn't functioning right. The throttles work, but the props and mixtures don't affect anything.

I disabled the throttle/prop/mix on the yoke and set up the throttle quadrant on the set up page for the axis. I'm getting really frustrated!! I also have the enable automixture unclicked.

Can anyone help???

Did you use CH's configuration interface or FS' under settings/control assignments/axis'?  I don't yet have the throttles, just the yoke and pedals but I've never used CH's software to assign anything.  XP should recognize the whole set-up and you should just be able to plug the quadrent in, start FS and make your axis assignments there.

just wanted to update....

after playing around with the control axis setup and button config to no avail, i decided to check out the "sensitivity" page. WHY there should even be sensitivity on the throttle quadrant i'm clueless about, but that cure my problems!

i thought i'd post this just in case someone else in the future has this problem.

#1- turn off the throttle/prop/mix on the yoke

#2- assign the controls in the "axis assignment" page for the throttle quadant

#3- turn the sensitivity all the way up for all levers, then turn the null all the way down

if anyone ever has any problems with their throttle quadrant set up, feel free to contact me.
