Well from what I've heard the XPS systes arnt that bad, SATA HDDs and real heatsinks insted of these fanless ducts. Also you should have room in that case for future upgrades. Only thing I would suggest is change the sink on your processer ot a Zalman CNPS-7000 and as far as your RAM goes get some 2-3-3-6 Courser XMS stuff.

Well hope you enjoy your new system

Cheers

Sorry for double post, but i think Dell made the best mistake ever...

SO... my parents are gone.. blah blah... and with the computer in the washroom (they're completely aware that i know it's there.. :P) I decided to sneak in, stealthily take everything out, and have a peak at it..

Well the monitor looks beautiful..
I got all my stuff..
But the thing that kinda spazzed me out: I looked at the back of the video card.. and was like "Yup... i've seen that S-Video and DVI setup, that's a Geforce 7800..."

So i put it back in the box.. blah blah..

THEN, something hit me.. "What if it isn't a GeForce?" So i do my homework.. looking at the stuff.. blah blah..

It's not any other card BUT the GeForce 7800..

But here's what caught me..

I was looking at the video card, and something caught my eye that i didn't see before.. In the above PCI slot, there was a vent... a VENT So... that kinda confused me.. until something hit me AGAIN

I looked above all of that, looking inside of the computer where the grid where you can put extra fans/whatever.. and saw something that nearly made me drop the computer...

Dell was supposed to send me a computer with a GeForce 7800GTX 258MB...

The sent me the 512MB version.. Lol :O

Best mistake by dell...... ever.

Just to let you all know :)

That's what they're advertising for thier XPS 600..

I got the 400 model.. :P

And they aren't giving the 512 version with the XPS 400.. Lol.. so it's either a mistake, or i got an awesome christmas/birthday present

Anyways, once i get to use my present on sunday.. i'll take it out and take a shot of it.. :)

AND i got Quake 4, which was so awesome, and i beat it like 15 minutes ago...

But anyways, i'll send ya'll some of those promised 7800 GTX 512 shots.. to prove that dell made ''A good mistake..''
