LCD Monitor question...

Postby Splat762 » Wed Dec 07, 2005 3:48 pm

Hey guys, I got a "early" Chirstmas present yesterday from the wife....a Sony 19inch TFT LCD Monitor.  It has 16ms refresh and a max resolution of 1280x1024.

I was trying it out in FS2004 lastnight and everything looks better except at low alt. there is some blurring in the middle of the screen.  Is this something on the game and I'm expecting too much on the LCD or do I have to ajust some of the properties of the monitor?

Make sure the monitor is at its native resolution, which is probably 1280x1024.  Also check that it is running at its native refresh rate.  Usually 75Hz for newer LCDs. ;)

It's a shame in general that FS at low alt isn't that great.

You could of course post a screenshot, then we can say if it looks ok on our monitors.  :P
