Radeon X300 Drivers??

Hi all,

Recently my FS9 seems to have gone downhill in the scenery department & I was wandering if maybe I needed to update my video card drivers (I have never done it).

I have a Radeon X300 video card.

My question is, where do I get the latest drivers from? how do I know which ones are the newest? & how do I go about backing up my old drivers first & then re-installing new drivers??

Yeah - you guessed it - I haven't got a clue where to start!!

ATI for the drivers and Driver Cleaner for getting rid of the old drivers properly. Follow the instructions for both.

I have the link for the latest official ATI drivers in my sig.  They are called Catalyst drivers.  Currently version 5.11 but 5.12 should be out soon!

You will need the control panel and graphics drivers atleast.  Make sure you remove the old ones before you install the new ones.  I don't recommend the Catalyst control centre, just the graphics drivers and control panel are the best.
