problem, who knows hardware and linux ubuntu?

here's my situation, i'll speak in hardware terms.

i have 2 drives and a CD/RW

Primary=C(40gb)
Secondary= Cable Sel.-D(30gb) (on slave link) Cable sel.-CD/RW (on master link)

one drive (40gb) has windows XP (30gb) and linux ubuntu (Breezy(10gb))

so i switched the C and D (c=40gb d=30gb) on the IDE, and switched the appropriate jumper so the setup is now:

Primary: D
Secondary=master-C (on master link) slave-CD/RW (on slave link)

now for some reason the NIC (D-Link wireless) won't work, and the video drops when i boot up. the fact i mamaged to get the video working now is amazing.

any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

Which OS are you booting into? Did you install the video / NIC device drivers on the linux install?

well, all is good, now, i needed a re-install of linux. thank you weather_man for your help.

ps: all this and guess what, i still havent tested Flight sim!
