Hey my ATi 9600SE blew and I'm in the market for another cheap graphics card, pocket money doesn't stretch that far im afraid, something around
Question: What do you call a member of a band who hangs around with no purpose?
Answer: A Bass Guitarist
PC:
AMD Duron (1.7 Ghz)
768MB RAM
40GB HDD + 20GB HDD
On board graphics :-(

Don't go under an NVidia 6600GT, .............. watch out for cheap imitations. Stretch the budget to a X800GT if you prefer ATI cards, that's the bottom of the performance range

Cheers congo 6600GT rock bottom and im not really bothered about ATi or Nvidia as long as its got the horse power.

6800LE ;) A far better card than a 6600GT , especially when "unlocked"

So then I've had a look at the spec. and I think the 6600GT any brand you guys would recommend? Or just take ya pick? As im thinking of PNY at the moment.

PNY have been implicated in above average failures from what I've read over the years, I think a recent thread in these forums as well.

Both my 6800's are / were "Leadtek" and superb cards they are too imho.

I recomend BFG, real lifetime warrantee and will RMA a part no questions asked.
