So...two sound cards are awesome.. :D

Got a freebie used one at the local pc store and installed it today so now I can have my engines coming through my desktop speakers and teamspeak only coming through the headset! :)

It's amazing what one can do if they set their mind to it....

Jared...one step closer to achieving a better sim..:)

I did this over a year ago, online combat just didnt cut it with my comms blaring through my speakers, although I was told that it couldnt be done or if you did run a onboard and hardware sound card you would mess up Windows I still to this day prove the naysayers wrong.
Key is not to set your onboard (or whatever being used for comms) set at full acceleration via DX settings.

Good to see that others are able to do this, makes all the difference in the world!

Makes a world of difference, eh?

When simming, I have the environmental sounds routed through my Edirol UA-5 to my amp, voice comms with my Logitech USB headset, and at times I have music playing from my onboard via a pair of speakers mounted in the ceiling.
