X's in boxes

Postby jimclarke » Thu Jul 21, 2005 7:22 pm

Here's one for you computer wizards out there.  What does it mean when I look at some web sites and where there were pictures there is now just a box with a red X in it?

Thanks,

Jim

Thats when the picture can't be loaded. Usually its because the website designer deleted the source image while leaving a reference in the html code. There's nothing you can do to fix in this case. Its up to the website manager.

It also could be that your browser does not support the image format the image is in, but unless you are using a really old browser or the image format is really old, this won't be the situation. The situation is very very rare.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the xbox.

That's all? :o ;D

Do yourself a favor and try Firefox. I'm sure that's what everyone is thinking.
