Postby Boeing727 » Sun Jul 24, 2005 9:08 am

Hello

I am currently pricing computer parts, because i have to decided to build my own computer instead of buying a desktop. i want to have really good graphics so im wondering what would be a good card. i have been looking at the  Ati Radeon X800 Pro.

http://www.ati.com/products/radeonx800/

does anyone have this card, and is it good?
I dont know much about computers, so when i read a lot of this stuff it doesnt  mean anything to me ;)

any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,
Alex.

I'm no expert nor fan of ATI I have to say. I owuld reccomend (If its for AGP) somehting in the ranges of a nVidia 6800. Theres a good price range of them, and they oft mod easily.

The x800 pro is an ok card.

I suggest a 6800 gt which about the same price (sometimes less if you know where to look) and is noticibly better performence wise.
