Yet another Saitek X45 question?

Postby GA_Pilot » Tue May 03, 2005 4:38 pm

I got a Saitek X45 today, from everything I have heard and read they are excellent joysticks, BUT the person I got it from didnt have the installation CD. So I was wondering if I need it? Or will WinXP detect it? I think I can download the drivers etc. from Saiteks website. If I do indeed need the installation CD, does anyone know if I can get one directly from Saitek?

Thanks in advance  8)

No basicly just install the drivers, and during the installation there is a step that tells you to plug in the stick. Do so, and it will take you to a calabration screen. Set up the stick, then click finish. There will be another program that it trys to install, but unless your using one of their keyboards too you dont install these drivers. If this wasnt helpful enough theres prbibly a support forum???
