Unable to REinstall WinXP

Hey,  
I am "ulindel" with the modem problem, which incidenrly was not solved despite your kind efforts (& also lost my Smvitn ulindel identity !).

Soon after that WinXP will not load, but I had dual boot with win98 so I can contact you again with old configurations, just about...

When I try to reinstall XP it goes up to about 60-70% and shuts with a dreaded blue screen saying:-
"Problem detected & Win will shut down to prevent damage to PC, Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal ".

It continues with full page advice, which when tried repeats the same thing a vicious circle over and over again, trying to avoid reformating that partition and loosing all in my winXP side.

And will not go into SafeMode in XP.

Can anybody help?   Thnx   Ulindel

reformat the partition

and install a clean install of XP.

Backup data to the old copy of win 98.

Had to do all that, and I am in the process of reinstalling a couple of other things like fs9 etc.

Is there a way of finding password of  my lost "ulindel" identidy ?.

I asked the bosses, but they gave me this new Luke one.                      see you
