nForce4 mainboard with PCIe and AGP

I don't know if there are other boards like this, and I've never been a big fan of Biostar, but check this out......

For anyone considering a 64bit upgrade, and not sure about PCIe or AGP graphics, this board offers you a choice.

Anyone know of performance figures for this type of board, or seen any others?

Here is a socket 754 board from MSI with both slots as well.

Something is odd however, Biostar call their AGP slot an "XGP" slot, and MSI call theirs an "AGR" slot with compatibility warnings along side.

Hmmmm..... do these boards work or are they just gimmicky "transition" boards?

I would be careful.

I've heard this boards are quite fualty. I heard they can damage AGP vid cards too.

I'd stick with a dedicated AGP or PCI-e board respectively.

I'd be far more interested in a Dual PCI-e board, which dosent limit your future upgrade potential, that said, I've just purchased an AGP 6600GT as I did'nt see the point in a new board solely for a single PCI-e card.
