My Computer is flipping out

Hi yall :D

I hope someone can give me some advice. My computer is making a sound like a program is running even though there is nothing runnig. I  ran my antivirus and nothing come up. The antivirus has been updated. The computer is getting slower and slower  :-[ I dont get it, and BS Dell techs are no help.

Could be spyware, if you have Windows XP do yourself a favour and download the Microsoft antispyware app. It works and is free.

Spybot is another freebie that's pretty effective...

I took your advice and went to Microsoft. I downloaded  AntiSpyware (Beta). It worked ;D

It deletes spyware and such, it's WAY better than spybot S&D or adaware.

I see your problem was solved.

Make sure to run the anti-spyware once a week aong with your anti-virus so the problem doesn't resurface.
