Ethernet Pedals!

Postby || Andy || » Tue Feb 15, 2005 10:02 am

I have the old CH Pedals...

I have a 223mhz computer (around about there)
And a new computer..
Both have ethernet connections....

BUT..

My new computer doesnt have a gameport... only USB...

I have a gameport > usb converter but it doesnt work with these pedals...

So is there any chance i can plug it up to the old computer and send it by ethernet to the new one ??? ???

Thanks in advance,
Please post quickly lol..  ;D

well that's surely an interesting way of doing it!

I had a logitech joystick that was a gameport as well. all of my pc's still have a gameport, but the stick actually came with a converter, so I could plug it into a USB port.

I've read somewhere where the gameport and usb CH products ca't be mixed, but I'm not sure about the USB converter idea. as both would be USB.

Not 100% sure it will work, but it may be worth a shot as it is a whole lot cheaper than a new set of pedals! :-)

Is there any other possible way, or will these pedals just have to go back onto ebay... :'(

Then you will have to sell the game port, and find another one that works with your pedals, or sell the lot and buy new USB pedals (which I suggest, at this point).
Sorry but I can't see no other way.
