Ram

Hi  guys can any one advise me please i have 256 sdram pc 133 doubled 16 chip i would like to add 256 do i have add double side or can i use single side 8 chip 256 sdram would be glade of sume  advise .

what mobo?

i've always had double-sided PC133 SDRAM... so i don't know if it works with a single-sided

More specs please. There are more things to consider.

Its also important that you match the fsb of your ram with your CPU.

When I had an older PC, I remember being advised to use the same type and brand RAM. Also to follow the mobo User's Manual regarding sequencing of the slots.  Speaking of RAM. What's the difference between a PC3200 and a DDR400

PC3200 is the same thing as a DDR400. Their just diffent names for the same memory clock rate.
