question about running 2 monitors

Postby TacitBlue » Sun Jan 09, 2005 7:33 pm

I have a GeForce MX440 128MB AGP video card. It has 1 VGA, 1 S-Video, and 1 DVI out on it. is it possible to use more than one of those outputs at once?

If it's got the DVI, go get yourself a DVI>VGA adapter, then everything should be a-okay.

I have an adapter, but I dont think that you can run VGA and DVI, you can do one or the other and S-video. I had that working, but it dosnt look very good on my TV. My adapter might be faulty, because I cant get my monitor to work through it when it is the only thing plugged in. Ill figure it out eventually though.

I don't think so. Not absolutely sure though.

On my 6800 ultra, i can use dual displays, but the difference between a 6800 and a gf4 mx is indescribable.
