Does it? If so what is a good sound card I can use that's cheap and won't stress a 250w psu too much.

A really good one is the SB Audigy2 ZS series. These are the only soundcards I've seen that support DTS which is a big plus if you watch DVDs on your computer. They start at $100US.

The economical Soundblaster Live series soundcards weren't too bad with CPU load, but the new onboard AC'97 sound etc., is much better in my opinion for sound quality; I'm not sure about the CPU load though.
