Testing? From linux!

Postby bm » Tue Jul 20, 2004 11:43 am

Hello all!

I have both my PC's up and running here on a dual boot system, the main one with XP/Mandrake Linux 10 and this one with 98SE/Mandrake Linux 10. I have had this for a month or two now but its mostly other members of the family who use it to play card games etc. I accidentally pressed the internet browser button when trying to work out how to use linux and up it came! Its automatically set up the network with ICS connecting to my other PC and I didn't even touch anything. It took me hours and days to get it working before with Windows!

Anyway - Just seeing if it works! If it does you'll read it and I'll go into shock....... Konqueror (the linux browser) even has a built in spell checker - useful when writing here! I can access all of my windows files if it crashes, and do anything windows can and better - and its all free!

So I might not even bother with windows!
