Female mice

Postby Dan » Sat May 08, 2004 2:48 pm

What is the best budget female mouse / mat I can get in the UK? As a (budget) panel maker i want to upgrade my 6 year old mouse!!
Above M$ Paint, are there any better freeware *.bmp editing softs out there?

Female mice eh? Try the pet shop.  ;D

Anything optical is good. I just use a standard Logictech optical wheel mouse. Paid $20 for it at Staples Bussiness Depot. You don't even need a mouse pad with optical ones. Oh, they come with an adapter as well incase you don't have USB.

Hi Dan. If we're talking PC hardware I don't know the difference between a male & a female mouse. ??? I've found any mouse will do. You should be able to pick a standard one up for less than

Hi Doug - 'Female mice' is just a little joke - they have no balls, i.e. optical! Thanks for the URL's,

Ah. Thanks for explaining. I'm a tad slow at times. ;)

Try the Gimp by all means. They might have updated it but it was originally a Linux application with a Windows front end. I never figured it out. ???

if you play games like quake series or other FPS i would advise against an optical mouse. They are a little slower than a standard mouse in these cases.

I find with optical mice that in a FPS you are likely to find yourself looking either straight up or straight down from time to time.

I made the switch early on to the Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse and have never looked back.  It is one of the best investments I've ever made...and it was only about $20USD.
Great edit, Bob.
