More FPS's

I have a 2.8mhz P4, 1024mb rambus drive RAM & 128mb geforce 4 TI4600 and I expected my FR's to be better in FS2002. Default scenery is okay but I get real crappy FR's at Simflyers JFK and I installed the Light version without any jetways, etc. and I don't even have FS2002 settings maxed-out. Is there settings that I can change? Also I have FPS locked at 25...............

Why does everyone lock FPS  ???   It just retards the capability of a good graphics card doesnt it?

Some addon scenery will grind the best machines to a halt.

You do mean FS2002.... don't you?

I would think you'd get high 40's at least and 25-30 minimum in that sim with your specs...all sliders up.

Anisotropic filtering and antialiasing clouds will slow it down. Turn off aniso. filtering. Try a resolution of 1024x768x32 with antialiasing at 2x. Unlock the FPS.
