there is a company local to me that is selling this card for

Not bad value, not great though.

If you do go ahead, first, stick with Nvidia but, don't go for the FX5600, go for the 5700 - without a doubt, a far better card than the FX5600 and a match for the Ati 9600 which is certainly quicker than an FX 5600 (Confused yet?  ;D )

If it was my money, I'd be looking towards an 800fsb P4 3.0ghz based system, combined with a decent mobo with support for dual channel RAM etc, frankly, the AMD would'nt be on my shortlist.

Ive Looked at p4's and amd options and i have also used both (not with fs 9 yet though) and i have found (with other games) that for the extra expense of the p4 the performance difference is minimal and the extra expense outweights the extra performace
