Thrustmaster Afterburner II FFB

Postby mgc » Tue Dec 16, 2003 2:50 pm

Does anyone up here have a Thrustmaster Afterburner  FFB stick?

Mine's great, but I do not get all the FFB affects with FS9 - eg turbulence.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

I really doubt that your stick is the problem. There has been some previous discussion on this subject and many people have stated that they are getting less force feedback with FS9. Fs2k2 FFB was alot better, FS9 FFB is terrible IMHO. The forces are there but are very weak when they should be stronger and ultra strong when only a slight force should be apparent. I am not sure if there is a fix for this as I am not very concerned with Force feedback anymore since i wont have it when i get my new stick. I am sure that someone will have a more definative answer soon though.

P.S. and by the way, Welcome to SimV!

Kevin:

Thanks. I kind of figured that may have been the problem as there are several "NO FFB" postings even with the Sidewinder.

With ot without FFB, it's still an enjoyable sim.
