You might want to take a look at the 'How long will this system be good for...' topic below. Ive asked the same question (slightly down the page) and you might find the advice usefull.

yeah dont get the fx5200 it looses its legs against most new cards now.

the best card to come out of the XFX factory is the Geforce 4 ti4200 128mb platinum gamers edition card

now before you start saying "whats the fool on about suggesting an aging card" then read on

firstly i have this card with fs2004 full settings full resolution and keep minimum of 15 fps + (note eyes cannot picture more than 15 fps anyways

secondly they have used the finest ram available on this card and overclocked the nuts off it. then the nutters go and give you more room to overclock - note dont overclock unless you know what your doing. i have mine clocked at 350 mhz core clock and 710mhz memory clock
default is 250 and 620 i think. the memory bandwidth sounds tempting too at 10.6GB per second

thirdly its built on the 8 layer pcb board that the high end ti4600 is derived from and in some instances out perfoms it.

fourthly its cheaper and www.cclcomputers stock this card and they deliver. they also include 3 games with it plus a free gamepad all for the sexy price of
