I'm not sure if it is new, but recently found an all too good expensive graphics card!  ;D

This is a 256MB Quadro Fx 3000 Graphics Card

Price Tag~ Around $2,000

Actually, I'm not sure if it for gaming, DCC, ect.

I'm going to try and get your picture up

There we go.

The Quadro FX is supposed to be for graphic design. When you go to places like Pixar or Sheriden College, that's probably what they have. I suppose you could use it for gaming but for $2000, why would you want to?

No "own power supply" on my FX5600......

Nor my friends FX5900Ultra!

:-*

I think they only require the power plug if they have the big fans in them.

i've got an extra power supply on my 9700pro,but without having a geforce-like cooler. i don't think that an extra power supply is disturbing,it's just the proof for the power of a graphics card.  ;)
