Postby Sock » Fri Sep 26, 2003 8:53 pm

I'm going to get a laser cordless, to replace the one I got now. The cats keep getting up on my desk and they leave a buch of hair and dirt that gets caught up in the mouse, causing it to hang up.

Needless to say .............I have to clean my mouse's balls quite frequently!  :-X

;D
.....so I loaded up the plane and moved to Middle-EEEE..........OIL..that is......

I'm sorry but thats the funniest thing I've "heard" all day.

Sock :D

Yeah!  That's [dang] good!

If you do decide to get a laser mouse, get the Logitech cordless.  Bought it for my grandfather a few years ago, and now the whole family owns them.  We swear by our Logitechs!

Depending on where you get it: $55-$75 US.  Pretty good, considering they will last beyond the computer you are using! ;D

When I first bought my computer 4 years ago, I got an infared mouse. It still works great, although I think the buttons are starting to wear out, and the paint is mostly worn off ;D

Hiya guys

Just teated myself to a brand new wireless Genius kboard and mouse set. Yeah it works fun for everything BUT fs

I'm now cursed(?) by a cursor that multiplies all over my panels, know what I mean?

Say the cursor happens to be stationary in the centre of the panel - I move it, it leaves a stationary flashing cursor behind in the original position and moves to the new position. Then when I move it again it leaves another flashing cursor behind - pretty soon you can hardly see anything but flashing cursors everywhere the mouse has been.

It doesn't happen in the 'view' thru the screen or in spot view - only over the panels themselves. Weird.

I'm messing around but if I can't solve it with drivers or whatever I'll have to go back to my jolly old wired-up kit.

There's progress 4 U

I've been using a Logitech wireless optical mouse for quite a while now and I have to agree, it is a huge improvement over the old roller ball mouse.
I have a couple of sets of rechargable batteries that I rotate through it so I'm not spending a fortune on batteries.
I think I bought mine at Wal-mart for around $50.00, and it has been well worth it, Sock, I suggest if you can't afford one straight up, you should put one on layaway, you won't regret it.
Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...

I guess since it got such a shinning review for, almost everyone, I'll look into it.
