Cool. I really don't know anything about AMD processors. I've never used one. They have some really good benchmarking scores though. I stick with Intel because they have been around for quite a long time now.. Unless I see a very drastic increase in performance over Intel in the future I probably won't ever use one.
I just isolated my problem also. I took one of the ram chips out, ran memory diagnostics and it found no errors. Now I need to determine if that faulty ram is the reason for my computer crashing. I'm pretty sure it is though. I'm going to stress the hell out of this computer to see if I can get that error to happen again. If not then I know for sure it is that one ram chip.
The bad thing is though both chips came in the same package.. I don't think newegg is going to let me just return one chip, I will probably have to send them both in. DAMNIT!!! That pisses me off....
