I read somewhere that liquid cooling systems use either water or a mixture of antifreeze and water.
My current room temperature is 78F due to electrical usage restrictions after last Thursday. It's usually between 68-72 in the winter and 74-78 in the summer.
Commenting on Brensec's Glycol leak statement. I would think any leak in a computer cooling system would be a disaster. Water conducts electricity and electrical short equals fire. I suppose if your cheap like me, you could buy a mini bar fridge and stick you computer in there. That's such a silly idea, it just might work. I'm not going to try it though.
I wonder what they use to cool super computers. I always thought they kept them in refrigerated rooms.
I still hold on to my prediction of liquid computer cooling becomming more common. AMD has already announced the release of it's Athlon 64 and there are rumors of a Pentium V comming soon. I know AMDs run quite hot already and although P4s run cooler, there is still a limit to what conventional aircooling can do in an enclosed area.
Just some thoughts. I never realised how complicated computer cooling was until I started this thread.

[center]I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.
