Memory

Postby B-DUB » Thu Apr 24, 2003 4:51 pm

Does anyone know how to fix a memory problem without actually bying more memory? All of my memory slots are full at 248MB, so getting more isn't an option. I believe my computer freezes up because of either a RAM shortage, DRAM shortage, or something. It happens whenever the computer is loading scenery before flight, or after flight. I've updated everything, so it's not the vid card, sound card, or DirectX. Please help.

Hi B....
Do you have the same problem with all your other games/applications, or just FS 2002...?

Cheers...
Paul.

I only have this problem with FS2002, and sometimes Fighter Ace. All of my other games and applications work just fine.

Well, i am sitting here with a AMD XP 2400+ over clocked to 2700 and 1 gig of ram. And it still takea a while to load the Scenery. You might want to concider selling your RAM and buying some bigger sticks.

When it comes to RAM - Size does matter  ;)
