Which one?

I've been playing the IL-2 demo all morning and I want it, but which one do I get?

Is there one package that has them all in it?

I've got IL2 1946, which has got a load of planes and scenarios. But I don't have any others, so I can't say what they're like.

I just picked up IL2 Forgotten Battles, Gold pack. Comes with Ace expantion pack. Don't know much about it yet, but the box says it is not compatible with IL2 Sturmovic on line.

I've got IL-2 1946 now, but I think I messed up by buying it through Steam, I can't find it on my hard drive, and if I disconnect my internet, it won't work. ::)

And to think, they may want to do the next FS like this. :'(

Sorry about that, I got the game pac at a second hand gaming store, so I find if my disc isn't in the tray it won't load. I've got quite a learning curve to figure out the commands. 12 missions flown and 12 times I end up like my avatar. I do love the weapons graphics, so on the way down i just empty the guns for fun.  :) Paid $9:99 for it, but I'll need more time with it to get it figured out.

Everything is good now. I found the offline mode, but I'm still not sure where the game is on my system.  :-?

Loads of fun though, and a totally different animal than FS. :o 8-)

...........the original IL2 STURMOVIK is great for slower machines and can be bought for just a cupla bucks
....also it is a great dogfighter when using external "snapto" cam
........... thus turning your battle into the equivalent of a movie :)
