Making missions, aircraft, scenery or other add-on for CFS 1, 2 or 3? Ask or advise here!

I have just started writing missions for CFS3 using the SDK. I have created a mission in which the player has to attack a large German Naval battle group with three cruisers and six destroyers.
The Ships are in the right place but for some reason they do not attack the flight with their AA guns. Does anyone have any ideas about how to make them defend themselves?

Did you ever work this out? I note the date of the original posting.
I'm just checking out the SDK & Mission Builder myself, which is why I came her to see what has been learnt so far. I believe the attack/defense capabilities are edited in the spawn files.
