Now im about to destroy CFS3 ive unsinstalled and reinstalled alot of times but when i click multiplayer  the game freezes PLEASE HELP ME how do i fix it

After uninstalling have you deleted any left over files or folders that effect CFS3?

When did this first start happening? Did you install something just before?

my system is a windows Xp so it shouldnt be happening and when i try to install the patch it says there is no CFS3 directory and CFS3 is on the computer

i got it to work but IT says the game cannot connect to the internet

Is the computer connected to the internet when the game is running?

yes i have Cable internet so it should work

and do i have to have 3.1 to play online games or does it not matter

You need 3.1a.

Go to the CFS3 website and download the patch and the bomber gauge fix. Then try again.

I did but it did not work i have a router what ports should i forward for it do work because i think the router is the problem

Can you reccomend an ip for a game

I don't know much about routers. Try opening all of them to see if that is the problem, then you could either ask someone more knowledgable on the topic or use trial and error to find the specific ports needed.

As for an ip, I can't help you there. You should have a list of servers to join. I can't really remember, I only tried CFS3 online on a couple of occasions.

Have you created a user account? Bottom left hand corner it asks you to log in. Have you done this? I've just tried and it gave me a network error of some description, but if you've not done this then try it and report back.

i have but i know why it does this
Zone.com which is who hosted the login stuff and the inernet (WAN) servers has stopped hosting online games for ALL cd Games (yes i know they are dumbasses) I am looking for a LAN server to play on

CFS3 didn't use zone.com and even if it did, other websites such as gamespy took it's place when they closed it. Unless you computer is on a network you won't find any LAN games.

Have you got any other games where multiplayer works?
