There is no 2d cockpit in CFS3. However, if you press scroll lock then you'll be able to look around as you would in the FS vc or press scroll lock again to flick to each angle (which is more useful for dogfights as you don't spend time panning).

Whats trackIR? :)

TrackIR is one of those fancy 'look-where-you-want-your-view to-go' headset thingies......

Dunno Dave.....SimOuthouse is probably the definitive CFS3 forum, they may know.......we're all a bit parochial around here ;)

Does the TrackIR website say what sims it works with?

As Woody says, there is only VC mode in CFS3. Scroll lock will toggle between a snap or scroll view on a joystick hat switch.

ctrl shift f4 is the fun one, it toggles between player/target and target/player. Great for watching yourself strafing in out of the sun ;D

Yep,

TrackIR works just fine in CFS3 - I don't know if I'd survive without it!

I have the TrackIR3 PRO + Vector Expansion and it's great, just the thing for checking your six.

Version 4 is now out - which has a wider field of view than version 3 (and is better for sitting on LCD monitors), and I think it comes bundled with the Vector expansion as standard.

Probably the best gadget you can get for increasing your "immersion factor" in flying (or racing) sims - top value if you can afford the $$.

Cheers - GhostFlyer.
