Unable to read the "help"/manual

Hi all, I'm new to CFS3 and the forums. I recently purchased CFS3 and I'm having problems trying to read the "help" manual. When ever I click on a help topic the whole program closes.  Any one knows what causes this?

It sounds like an installation problem of some kind. Does this only happen when you are at the 'main screen' and you select 'options' then 'help' or is this happening in flight when you hit F1? Or maybe both?

I would uninstall the game and then install it again. Make sure you don't have any other browsers open during the uninstall and install. I would even disconnect from the Internet and turn off any anti-virus/Internet protections as well, ie: Norton or what ever you have.

I have a decent system and I always play the game with my Internet disconnected and and security off because it allows the game to run smoother.

Are you running off of XP and have you downloaded Direct X?

Yes it happens when I click on "options" then "help" doesn't work by pressing F1 either. I do see all the index,topics etc but as soon as I click on anthing it takes me back to the my desk top.  I do turn off antivirus etc when ever CFS3 is on. Thanks for your inputs

Uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing happens

Old version of Internet Explorer maybe?
You need IE 6

I'm using Mozilla Firefox but also have IE and same happens...
