CFS runs on the other PCs but not this one. At start it goes splash screen, blank screen then back to desktop. Have downloaded MS patch 3.1, latest Nvidia drivers for graphics, and Direct x 9c. The only thing I can see wrong in application event log is this message ( The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 7.) preceded by another message the same however event 6. Running Norton internet security and even with this turned off it strill wont run. However the Event log here shows my computer talking to my server sending bytes nad recieving bytes back at same time as error message in applications log.
Microsoft have helped to date but just cant work it out, I am at a loss here, what am i missing.Help
