Incremental flap control, not working

Postby SabreHawk » Sat Nov 01, 2003 7:16 pm

???Hi fellers, well heh, im not sure quite what's uo with this but my manual says that the flap controls fo extending or retracting flaps incrementally are "F" &  "V", and fully are shift+F, & shift+V, however this seems not the case. When hitting "F" the flaps extend to full, and also "V" retracts them fully. And also likewise shift+F, & shift+V, retracts or extends fully. Does this happen to anyone else, or was there a fix for this somewhere along the way that I missed?
I've tried everything, but no luck so far, I get full extension, & retraction of the flaps no matter what combination I try. ???

Which aircraft? Some - like the Spitfire - have only 2 flap positions anyway, up & down.

PS. Sorry, where's my manners? Welcome to SimV. :-[ ;)

:PHah! good grief, thank you , that must be what it is.
Heh, heh, I've only flown the Spit in this thing so far, so that's what it is ::) I just didnt know the spit only had two positions, up/down.  ;)
So sorry, heck i've had this sim on my system for a year or so but just hadnt ever flown it, just been so engulfed with other games and what'not.(fs2k2,&2k4, CFS2, ect.)
So yeah im just now starting to fly it, and hadn't even got around to flying anything but the spitfire so far(it's my favorite).
Thank you for such a fast response there friend, and again I appoligize for such a no brainer ::)

Hehe. That was a good guess. I don't even have CFS3 installed. LOL

Glad to help. Please, never be afraid to ask. ;)
