Sticky Padlock Problem w/Ms P-Pro

Postby TheBlackHand » Fri Jul 25, 2003 9:56 pm

I'm having a bit of a problem configuring my MS P-Pro. Prior to a recent uninstall I had the stick set perfectly. I could lock onto a target and switch from player/target, to chase, to virtual cockpit without losing the padlocked. Now, if I lock onto a target in one view, then switch to another I lose the original taget. I have "Next/Previous Target" keyed to my stick, but it never seems to go back to the original target. I end up having to cycle all the way around till I've found the original.  I have no idea how I got it to work the way I liked it last time around.  It just worked.  Now it doesn't & I'm not having any fun without it.

Anybody?  I'd really like to get back into the game.  This padlock problem is keeping me out.

I wonder if you are loosing these settings when you close the program down.
It might be worth checking all the assignments immediately after starting the game, then once you've been through them all quitting the game so it saves the settings. Then restart and see if its loosing them.
