Quick Combat Naval Attacks

I was wondering if it would be possible for modders to create knew mission types for quick combat? I've been longing just to have a shot at some destroyers in some of my newly downloaded aircraft. Other types could be 'combat patrol' and 'defend your airbase' type of things.

I don't know about adding that option to the quick combat selection (thats for someone clever ) but a simple mission made with the mission builder would do the same job.......not the same though    
  So the same question again with a lot of hints and pleases atached.
