Pat. I saw your name & just had to say Hello. It's been a long time & I thought you had disappeared long ago. You might remember me better as Doug Attrell. ;)

Guys, I don't use CFS3 but please check out Patrick's work. He was one of the most talented & highly respected aircraft designers in the days of CFS1. I'm sure his latest stuff will be to the highest standards.

Yes!  Yes!  Yes!  Thank you so much!  Been waiting for one of these for ages now! :D

I'll help out with the textures to show my gratitude!  Can I have permission to upload improved ones when I'm done, please?

Just downloading right now...I'll be back soon to tell you how good it is (I'm sure it'll be great, BTW...LOL).

Well...doesn't fly like I think a Hurricane should...but then again it's a 1% airfile, so that must be me.

What's there of the DVC is extremely good to tell the truth.  The external model is accurate enough, but I did notice the wheels don't spin on the correct axis...they seem to move up and down as well as round and round if you know what I mean.  The textures are very basic, but will provide a good base to improve on. ;)

A job well done, but I do have to say it only seems half finished.  But being freeware, half the fun is building the thing and the other half is watching others enjoy and improve on it, isn't it? ;) ;D  I'm sure a lot of people will pitch in and we'll have a masterpiece soon enough. ;)

Patrick what is your address? You have just gone to the top of my Xmas card list!!!!
Thank you on behalf of everyone here, loads of us have been sitting around bitching about the lack of a Hurri.

Many thanks again
Ozzy

PS. Whitey I'll be experimenting a little with the aircraft file to see what I can squeeze out of her, and aren't the wheels meant to be like that? I mean I heard from my grandfather that they pinched them off prams... ;D

Wish I could check it out but I uninstalled CFS3 as it won't run on my present machine.
Ozzy, did Patrick forget to include his address in the file? The wheels thing Whitey mentioned is most likely off-centred textures. If I'm right this could easily be fixed.

Awesome work patrick. Only thing that might need some minor improvement in my opinion is the textures. But other than that, very good work

Hello all, Hi Doug

I do know, i released this hurricane too soon. As I'm best 3D modeler than skinner, I should have spent a few more weeks (or keep it to myself ?) to show decent textures (it's not sure even spending all my life, LOL) and a VC (I have only 3 external basic views to work from).

There are so talented skinners and designers out here.
I can share my Hurricane's files to improve it.

I just wanted to fly BoB missions. Someone has to built these planes missing. The next for me will be a Bf109E, I suppose and then a Do17 ?
