Full Download directX9.0

Where, and how can I download a full working version of DirectX 9.0? In the Microsoft site I can only download an executable file that, when instaled, requires a new download.
I whant to install directX 9.0 on a computer without internet.

I dont think so Tony. I downloaded from Microsoft (link above) and it was the 9.0

By the way, I'm very impressed with the massive improvement on the game performance, at least in my machine.

I don't know about a massive performance hit but to tell u the truth I didn't notice any performance at all on my P4 2.8 with a Ti 4600.  I guess it varies for others.  Some may see little, to a lot, to none in performance increase.   DirectX 9.0 that is..

Hey guys, I have installed Dx 9.0. I have seen some things that I did not like after installing it. Every time I turn on my computer, a message pops up telling that there has been an error involving dxdllreg (I think I spelled it right).

I like to get rid of that error. How do I unistall it and bring back the Dx 8.0 or 8.1?

Do I have to reinstall CFS3 to get the old DX version or do I have to do something else?

I need help FAST and I'm dead SERIOUS.

Katahu,
You can't uninstall Direct X, try downloading DX9a from the Microsoft site and overwrite you're installation, that should take care of the problem.

or if u have windows xp u can set a system restore date before u install DirectX.  it helps.

I noticed a significant improvement in my 1.8 ghz Pentium IV.

Also I noticed the graphic/performance constantly decreases as I'm flying missions and playing the game... after the 4th or 5th mission I leave CFS3 and reload the game. I helps alot. I know this might sound stupid, but I'm very shure of this!
